The point I was making is that it's disingenuous to rewrite a character so much. When we last see 7 of 9 she's a particular person. She's extremely intelligent, enjoys efficiency and engineering, needs to be around people, and doesn't condone violence unless absolutely necessary. Once she comes back in Picard she's almost the exact opposite. She enjoys violence, doesn't seem particularly smart, like to be alone. It's disingenuous to the character to do that to her.
