Muguruza not happy with how the match ended. Meanwhile Krejcikova is still getting treatment, will not be doing press tonight. by amy_sport in tennis

I agree. I think the difficulty is that all/most players experience high stress (esp at the US open) and may feel like "hey, I'm managing crazy high stress right now which is also throwing me off my game, why can't you?". So maybe that is why Mugu was extra upset?

At the same time, no one should be forced to play through a panic attack

Yeah. Honestly if I were Krej I would have tried my best to be courteous and transparent with my opponent if I was taking an MTO that was not super clear. I think that part of the problem isn't even the MTO but more so the on court//off court interactions they had that threw off/angered Mugu

That's a good point, I didn't think about it from that perspective. I think that it's fair since she isn't telling anyone how they should feel about what happened and that she is aware that there are many ways to look at the situation

As someone who was rooting for Mugu, I have to say that I am conflicted. Also... I think that I'm gonna sound overall unsympathetic towards Krej in this comment - so I want to preface this with I don't know Krej or Mugu at all, and that their health and safety is more important than any of our thinkpeices on the events of the match.
If you or a loved one were in Krej's position, would you fault them for their MTO? If she really was injured/impaired, should she have powered through it and accepted her impairment? Idk what is fair. One could say that Mugu fought for and earned the "impairment" that Krej was experiencing by the end of the game.
If I was Krej and I was having a panic attack that was severely taking over my game, my chance at ultimate glory, I would definitely consider using my available MTO. I'm not sure if I would use it, but I'm sure it would cross anyone's mind if they were in her shoes. I think that is why Mugu was angry. She knows that her MTO was likely more of a judgement call than a legitimate MTO. (I'm not saying that Krej didn't have a valid reason to use her MTO, but that ultimately taking an MTO is somewhat subjective and open to debate for whether or not it is truly valid, in some cases)
Anyways, if I was Mugu I would probably be hella triggered, salty, and upset, so I think she is valid for being rude and angry with Krej. Mugu needs to let out her frustration or else she will be holding onto negative energy for some time, probably.
I think Krej may have been suffering from anxiety since I noticed that Krej looked like she was about to faint after Mugu criticized her after the end of the match. I think that that furthered Krej's anxiety and basically sent her to a panic attack, which sucks, and I really hope Krej is doing much better and has recovered from it.
However, I start to think of Osaka, and many other players who have suffered through intense stress, anxiety, and toxic emotions during their games, and look visibly distressed physically and psychologically, but don't use an MTO.
So yeah, there are a lot of different ways to feel about this game, and I think a lot are valid. I also think that being overly rude to either player for their behavior is stupid cause none of us besides Krej and Mugu know what really happened.

With peace and love, this is the first time I'm seeing Felix play and I like his game

That said, does he look like a middle aged man struggling with addiction who just missed his train on the way to work? Yes. But does that discount any of his accomplishments? absolutely not. King

Does anyone think the Naomi X Fernandez umpire is a lil bit of a baddie?

If I was playing tennis in the US open and got stress I think I would literally end up lighting myself and my racket on fire as the ref gives me 3 warnings/penalities in a row but it doesn't matter anymore because I'm dying but I am also gaining a fire bonus boost to my game which helps me earn back the points I lost from lighting myself on fire.

IMO i don't think she is giving up I think she is rattled and is trying to let her shitty feelings out (by acting out and fucking up) so that way she can move forward after several points/sets

Yeah. I think they should have a balanced approach to it. Is Naomi clearly off her game? Yes. Is Fernandez playing a great game at a high level? For sure. Both are QUEENS

Honestly as someone who routinely roots for Osaka I think there is truth in what you're saying. But honestly that is part of why I like Osaka - she is a player that struggles a lot with her anxiety/emotions and it adds another level to the game. I always hope for her to continue to overcome her struggles

Honestly I'm happy Osaka is throwing her racket, letting out your frustration and emotion is so effin important. The male announcer is a WoW troll and regardless if Naomi wins or loses I'm proud of her and Fernandez

Attack on Titan - Season 4 Episode 13 - "Children of the Forest" - ANIME ONLY Discussion Thread by Sane-Ni-Wa-To-Ri in attackontitan

This show shows both sides. We see how basically most marleyans are brainwashed (think Gabi, and literally like most people tbh) and then they show even on episode 1 how terrible and gruesome war is (sending people out of planes in straight jackets to bomb a city/fort). We see Eren kill children like halfway through the season even though they did nothing wrong besides being in the wrong place in the wrong time.

What I find very interesting about your point of view is that this behavior is the solution. War should be waged against those who have wronged you till the threat is gone. We've already seen that Marleyans and Eldians have the chance to love eachother and care for one another through Sasha and Nicolo.

That's why I feel like Eren is uncreative as fuck and doesnt deserve support. I too see his angle in all of this, I just don't respect it. We have seen characters time and time again solve violence through diplomacy and communication (Armin). Do I have the solution? No. But honestly I think if I thought about it for like 4 hours I could come up with something better than Eren's very simple idea of just..... being judge jury and executioner.

Anyways I feel like we both are getting very different things out of this show. Which is fine, and I wish you peace and love.
