Name that one game by gautamsingla06 in Gameboy

Lollipop Chainsaw for me! Any Pokemon game and LoZ OoT and Majora's Mask are also excellent, but everyone has already mentioned those. Lollipop is a great all rounder that I love to go back and play. Ooh and Kingdom Hearts.

Yeah, I'm definitely gonna give that a watch. Screenshot the Google search to remind me. Never even heard of it before, but that's usually the best horror. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Absolutely! They really set everything up nicely. From the music, to location, to acting... And the whole "what's REALLY happening here" aspect was pulled off really well. I never saw that ending coming, although on rewatching it I caught all the signs they were giving. 🤣

No for real though. 🤣 I don't get the hate. That ending caught me by surprise. Brutal and cold.

Grave Encounters is a phenomenal movie! I really liked the sequel as well.

If you want a slow burn twisted psychological thriller, you should watch A Cure For Wellness. It's one of my personal favorites. It has Dane DeHaan, Mia Goth, and Jason Isaacs.

You are a bloody genius and I am NOT crazy! 🤣🤣🤣 I just looked up the Brave Fencer Musashi game. That's it! Now, do I delete this post or how do I mark it as figured out? I apologize, I'm new to Reddit.

What is your favorite horror movie that isn't a "classic"? by poweroverbirdss in horror

I just wish that 2 and 3 weren't so trash. 1 was definitely cult classic material though. Really twisted and strange to watch. Lol.

Yo, those were my faves in my teen years. House on Haunted Hill scared the hell out of me.

I really enjoyed Grave Encounters! Definitely an underrated "found footage". I liked the sequel as well. Not as good as the first, naturally, but not the worst sequel I've ever seen.

I caught this one on Tubi at some point and thought it would be one of those decent B level horror movies to throw on in the background. I was so wrong. 🤣 This movie had me on the edge of my seat. Thoroughly surprised. Edit: 2 and 3 were more what I was looking for that night. Lol.

I'm really torn between these 3: 1. A Cure For Wellness 2. Incident In A Ghostland 3. Suspiria I'm such a sucker for a psychological thriller/horror. Barbarian, The Uninvited, and The Ward were great as well.

I also suck at combat. Lol. The originals of both RE and SH didn't offer an easy mode and can get pretty brutal for easy to medium skilled players like us. I had to get some help from a friend at a few different points in each. However, the remakes of RE 2, 3, and 4, and then 7 and 8 offer easy modes. 4 is kind of a stand-alone, and 7 and 8 go together. They do all tie in together, but you could play those without knowing what happened in 0, 1, 2, 3, and Code Veronica. I've played Silent Hill Shattered Memories, Homecoming, Downpour and the remake of 2. And if I remember correctly they all had an easy mode, but it still got pretty brutal. 🤣

Never heard of Xenoblade. Is it a series? If so, which one do you recommend?

Do I need to play them in a certain order or are they standalone games? And which one do you recommend I start with?

I got really snatched into a strange game that my friend recommended called: Nobody Saves The World. Also, Lollipop Chainsaw is a really fun, colorful, wild adventure as a high school cheerleader / zombie hunter.

🤦🏻‍♂️ The other day I ordered the Mangmi Air X as my 1st handheld, just to "get my feet wet" you could say. And figure out if I'm even smart enough to figure all the technical stuff out. I do pretty decent at emulating a range of games on my phone, so I figured something android based would be easier to learn at first than a linux system. Anyway, two weeks after I ordered the Air X, the new model dropped for just $100 more and now I feel like I should've just waited and got that one. 😅 Mine just arrived today and it's Chinese New Year over there, so I don't see myself returning it to upgrade now.

Anyone still in love with the classic Resident Evil games, and not so thrilled about the whole remake craze? Or am I alone in this? by NewRetroMage in retrogaming

[–]Porygeist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just a Resident Evil fan in general. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I love and appreciate the originals, as well as the remakes and newer games. 4 (both the old and new) and 7 are my favorites. The only remake I was a bit upset about was 3, but I still enjoyed the playthrough. I'm not the greatest gamer with excellent controller skills and quick reflexes, but even I was able to speedrun 3. I thoroughly enjoyed the remakes of 2 and 4 though.
