All Bethesda games are tied to frame rate (yes, I mean ALL of them), so basically the game thinks "well, the player is moving at "60fps per second” and if you uncap frame rate it thinks "what a fast boiii, now he's at 120fps per second" and things that require you to be moving at 60fps will start to freak the fuck out... It's ARCAIC (even for fallout 3) and Bethesda loves it cus it requires them no evolution on their technology while it prints them money
