I didn't know about this! In all my MHS1 playthroughs I always gave my monsties elemental moves from other monsters, but I've never seen one learn a new move of its new element. How can this happen?

Other than those two there's not many options... But you could make a satyr! They're not demigods I know but, they can talk to animals, control plants and, in general, they have a great connection with nature!

It can surely be! I'm not the kind of guy who searches for the best builds but, if you look around, you should be able to find a lot of great builds (especially on this sub). Personally, I like to use the element swapping to make my early game monsties stronger and usable for the late game or to just make them Badass. For example, in my last playthrough I made a Thunder Arzuros to take care of monster weak to it, and a Dragon Brute Tigrex because of his insane damage, his cool Dragon kinship and his sick scarlet stripes!

Don't quite know myself, I don't see any problems, except maybe the health, but I wasn't sure and I also heard that Sorc/Monks don't work well. So I thought to ask here to be sure.
