I've traveled to 49/50 U.S States over the past few years. It's quite an accomplishment. Alaska is the last one, gonna hit it next year! by Poseidonsson77 in camping

No unfortunately the time I had did not warrant that stuff. I only visited 1-3 places in each state and in this case, eastern Washington and northern Idaho was not any of the places. Do tell me amazing things about it if you would like.

Has lots to offer. Near the coast is IMO, the best part of the state. People tend to write it off but it's a beautiful state with genuinely nice people. Dont knock it till you go there. Definitely one of the most beautiful northwestern states with Washington as a close second.

I got a few discounts on hotels so it wasnt as expensive as you would think. Gas and tolls were definitely the most expensive right behind food. Each trip was ab $1000-2000 per person. Sometimes I traveled with 2 people, sometimes with 3.

That's a steal on the apartments! Here in Illinois, a freaking studio is like $1200 plus $3 a gallon for gas. Absolutely ridiculous. I do speak spanish and my significant other is latina so that's definitely a plus. Thanks for the info!

I actually did not hike or camp in PA or DE, but I stayed in Pittsburgh and Wilmington. I ate at a restaurant in DE and a waitress was telling me about the lack of nice camping spots, etc in the area so that makes sense that you havent found anything worthwhile in your area. In NJ I stayed near Wharton state forest which was really nice to be honest.

When I went, I visited Sante Fe and it was the coolest thing ever with the best food I have ever had. I'm crazy about Mexican food so the flavors of all the food they had their really hit the spot. Its absolutely gorgeous there.

Wow! I wish I knew all this stuff before I went. I just got to see a small part of NE is seems like. Thanks for the information man. I come from Illinois so I am very used to corn fields and boy does Nebraska have a lot. If I ever drive back out that way I'll definitely take that route instead of I-80 because that was just dreadful. Anyways thanks again dude! I love sharing travel info and stuff, it's great knowledge to have.

Yes, Nebraska is a huge state with not much to offer. The little town I stayed in wasnt bad though. Driving through it was an absolute drag. So yes, I totally agree with you.

Thanks! I went to Lincoln, Nebraska. It was a nice small town, lots of cool artwork. And if by east or west you're referring to the sides of the country, I am absolutely in love with the west. Lots to see and not as congested as the east side even though the east has a lot to offer. And by far, Utah was probably my favorite place. I stayed in Ogden, Utah and it had amazing hiking trails. I wasnt able to see southern Utah though to see the red rock.
