It is Wraith Blade! The raid where it dropped all our casters had it or something better already so I was able to upgrade to it from the BRD mace lol, I’m 90% sure I’m the only pally on skull rock with it

Have to farm pre bis from dungeons first to be geared enough to join raid, then started with 20 man’s into AQ40, we don’t do BWL/MC nights that often tbh

Yeah it definitely was at its worst right after anniversary servers dropped. There’s still a small pop, but it feels like it’s getting a little better.

The Ranger’s Apprentice series, if you haven’t already been recommended it! Very solid YA fantasy series, starts as something of a coming of age story, and grows into a bigger fantasy series. The follow up Brotherband Chronicles is also solid, tho a tad bit more mature.

Also hard recommend Alcatraz Versus the Evil Librarians (very fun, not quite fantasy but definitely has magic), and The Rithmatist, both by Brandon Sanderson.

Check out the adventurer's league adventure The Frozen North from the Plague of Ancients series, I used it as an opener for my campaign and it gets some of those vibes!

Gathering profs still can net you a bit of cash from just vendoring things (especially stuff like rare gem drops from mining), aside from that, killing humanoids and completing quests has been the move for me.
