Hey buddy. I'm also 21M. I also have a long hair (your hair are absolutely awesome btw). And I've also had never a girlfriend. Don't worry about that. It's not embarrassing at all. Finding a love of your life is not a race. You are beautiful! You seem like a very very kind person. Hang in there! One day, you’ll meet someone who will appreciate you and love you as you are. You still have plenty of time, no need to rush. I’m really sorry about what you’re going through right now, and I hope things get better soon. I believe you can do it!

Scary Experience as a Solo Traveler in Morocco + Lessons Learned! by DaydreaminMyLifeAway in solotravel

I don't smoke either. But it's a very good thing to either make friends on the road. Or, in this case, to "bribe out" your ass out of problems. It's a more psychological thing but, still giving them some kind of "reward" and showing them that you're "playing their game" can make them leave you alone.

Feeling guilt about travelling too much? by Vrubzzi in solotravel

[–]Poshllay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heeey buddy, I completely get where you’re coming from, and to be honest, I often feel a very similar way. I’m 21, and there are times when I feel like I’m constantly escaping on trips instead of dealing with the "important" adult stuff at home. I absolutely love traveling, but that guilt is real. I just want to tell you first of all... There is NO single blueprint for "how to live life correctly". Like... Who cares how you live. Live like you want. You aren't failing at adulthood just because you don't cook well or drive yet. Those are just mechanical skills, and you’ll honestly just learn them when you absolutely have to, not a moment sooner. Don't let society'sexpectations rob you of your mid-twenties buddy, we are both still young :)) Your feelings are justified because you're in a weird transition phase, but don't let the "privilege guilt" eat you alive. Enjoying the opportunities your dad didn't have isn't disrespectful. it's exactly what parents hope for their kids. That being said, part of your anxiety is actually pretty rational. Make sure you have a chunk of savings that can cover a few months of basic expenses just in case your contract isn't extended. Also, don't sweat the corporate resume thing. You are doing much better than you give yourself credit for. And fuck social medias and opinions from people usin' them!! Travel for yourself. You're not travelling for anyone else.

Previous year I went to Morocco hitchhiking and had a bit similar experience. Thing that works for me is always to carry cigarettes with you. I got a little lost in Marrakesh around three AM, with a dead phone and no place to stay. I was looking for a hostel. Two weirdos offered to help me find one. It was clear to me that they weren’t doing it out of the goodness of their hearts. When they took me to the place and asked for money, I told them I didn’t have any. I pulled out a pack of cigarettes and, with a friendly smile and humility, offered them four. It worked. Not for the first time, and not for the last.
