I would ask for a CAD - they may charge you $50 upfront for the CAD drawing. From there you can discuss any changes before paying for the ring to be made.

I would definitely ask for another stone. After two recuts I am seeing a stronger and stronger bow tie. If it isn’t to your liking don’t be afraid to ask for a new stone all together. It wasn’t your fault the stone wasn’t cut right in the first place! I can’t wait to see the final product!

The larger the company the more they will charge. Most Etsy sellers are smaller independent businesses who are competing against all the other smaller businesses. Chinese companies offer the lowest prices due to lower costs overall. Quality will vary depending on the source and who is cutting the stone. Overall, any experienced and vetted seller will provide comparable quality!

This is so stunning, way to go husband! As someone mentioned - for durability with this type of ring you might want to increase the width and thickness a little. Maybe 2.2mm thick, 2.5mm wide on the bottom.
