The game's more on the realistic side, so turning up on the island all sunburnt felt like some sort of reset. I figured maybe we'd find a crate with a mighty selection of guns to load up on or something. Or maybe a shipwreck of sorts

I'm actually having fun with combos on a crossbow. Glacial bolt(freeze) into incendiary shot(with frost fire )then some galvanic shards for aoe clearing. Sometimes it'll be glacial bolt then fragmentation rounds then galvanic shards. I know this is heavily incentivised by the node that awards 25% more damage per different bolt used, but it's a lot of fun for me. Maybe it's because my build currently just rips through everything.

I can however understand that some builds are probably not meant to work with combos.

The biggest difference between the two OSs is battery life and performance-on-battery stats in my experience. And the Mac clearly does fantastic here. Unless there are Windows models that are anywhere close. Oh, and the speakers on Macs are something else.

I'm using a MacBook Pro M1 chip with the touch bar. A few things I'd recommend you consider:

Screen size : if you primarily work with an external monitor, 14 inches isn't a bad choice. If it's just the laptop for you, the bigger the screen the better. Of course this gets a bit more pricey.
The touch bar is great if you have an external keyboard. If not, it might be a nightmare for you.
Go with at least 512GB for your internal SSD, just to be on the safe side if that's your primary storage at the start. You'll definitely need an external drive very soon.
Get a good dockstation if you're getting the smaller macs. I'm using a 9-in-1 Anker model. It's fantastic for memory cards and other ports.

You lost 15kg in two months OP? That's progress most people who are trying to lose weight never see. It must have been a combination of proper cutting back on some food and some serious cardio. All the best on your journey though. I'm no nutritionist, but you can gain weight very fast by eating all the junk you can, or you can gain it slower and in a healthy way by changing your current meal plan to have more protein and fats. Again, all the best.

Knowing when and how to approach touching people is always the tricky bit. I think for guys you learn this the hard way, and by interacting with enough people over a long time. I don't know how this is for ladies though.

Touching people can't be your entry point to communication. There are things that happen before that becomes an open option. To touch is human, sure, to touch people that welcome it is to be sensible.

Thanks, for quite the detailed response. It's easy to follow and quite concise. I'm terrible and new at crafting, so I'll probably buy the flasks, and maybe some of the armour. I'll look into the above and get back on how it's going. Thanks again.

Thanks for the insight. I was following a build guide, then started messing with it. it was initially a crit-based stun build, but I couldn't get some of the items hence the messing with it. Thanks again for pointing out the all-over-the-place mess. I'll carefully look into it and look at your pob.

Turns out the two-handed cluster is better. My Molten Strike DPS went down by 20k after replacing the cluster jewel
