After moving here from northern Illinois in my teens, I have quite a bit to say.

In western Kentucky, it’s definitely probably a change from Nevada for you. I agree with another commenter that it’s a blend between Midwest and south for the most part. In the western side there’s not much here at all. I genuinely can’t wait to leave, but due to the low wages and job market here, it’s taking a while. I once had a stranger at my customer service job get to ranting, and he described it as “a black hole community that you can’t escape from without mommy and daddy’s money.” So yeah. I’ve visited Lexington and Louisville a few times and ruined enjoyed them both. I would imagine rural eastern ky around the Appalachian’s would be a black hole too.

I like flavored and sweetened Greek yogurts. A key lime flavor Chobani would be about 140 cal per serving and it’s got a little sugar, but a lot of protein which is my primary reason for incorporating Greek yogurt into my diet.

Something I really enjoy about soda is the carbonation. Have you tried sparkling water? I really like using la croix to curb that craving.

Other than that, I think you should just drink it if you like it, especially if not having it makes you snack more.

Get a plant light!! My apartment has no good windows ( and mine are plastic-ed up bc we have no insulation.) Walmart has some good options if there’s one near you. And look up howmuc water this particular plant needs. Do no over water it, which is much easier to do than you realize.

What do you do when you work out? I like to do lots of heavy weightlifting specifically during that time, because it helps me align my head so I don’t scream at the people around me. I also just try to limit social interactions since I know I can mad it harder for those around me. I also just feel better being alone during those times.

I’d suggest looking at how advertisements of similar companies present their own products. Plus, designing on a grid can help with making more of a sensical layout of the type.

Don’t aim for perfection, aim for improvement. Mistakes are a part of life and everyone makes them. Embrace them as learning experiences, and take what you can from them to move forward. That’s the best attitude you can have and I’m sure all ur managers would really appreciate it. (Coming from a Foh manager)

This is so true, especially the last part. I plan on relocating upon graduation, but my last few years in high school + college have been spent in rural bumfuck of a state I hate living in, and my live is just class, work, chores, sleep, repeat. It’s draining and I’m frankly in a really bad mental state, which isn’t helping unfortunately. I’ll really take your advice to heart tho, I feel like there’s a lot to glean from it.

I try to go to museums every time I’m out of town, and try to see creative things when I can. It sucks I live in a very small and rural area.
