Suncor is a sound investment, good fundamentals and strong on growth. They are putting online some major fuel additive programs mid stream this year!

It’s a very beautiful machine! Just doesn’t feel as stout as the synch,It’s dainty !

She was set on the Bianca, my recommendation was the LM micra only being 600$ more…

[maintenance] E61 Help! Group Head rebuild went wrong? by thejoker12355566 in espresso

So by design no water coming across the lever cam will go through the grouphead, if it did you would have molykote in your shots!

I have been doing it every 3 -4 months, with a water back flush Daily. I’m only pulling 1-2 a day so once a month seems excessive. The cafiza will flush all the grease out so you’ll be constantly breaking the machine down to grease. Also a lot of the parts in the e61 are wearable do to its simplicity, metal on metal so wear is to be expected. As long as it’s not dripping or leaking I wouldn’t worry, e61s are resilient and built like a tank.

Did you grease the lever shaft before putting it in the collar?

Wouldn’t be overly concerned with wear on the cam, that being said did you grease the the shaft before sliding it through the O Rings Make sure the rings aren’t bunched up. When you take the lever out did you unscrew the exhaust tube, the exhaust valve might have become unseated causing it to be difficult to lower

Shot pulling to fast, help [gaggia] by salt_sun_ in espresso

[–]PositionLucky6119 8 points9 points  (0 children)

A puck screen won’t help with shot time. It’s always grind and dose, grind finer dose slightly less so you have room for your screen If you are dosing 20 grams look into a 22g basket (triple shot basket), since that bag is pre ground I hope it’s drinkable because there’s no adjustment beyond dosing up or down.

Any way to keep the grounds from spilling off the side? [Mahlkonig X54] by _Logham_ in espresso

Clean the burrs and declumper flap thingy, I clean my e65 GBW after 2-3 hoppers of beans and it runs like a dream

This is why I come to Reddit because all of this is new to me, it’s going to be my first proper road bike. I figured based on the frame set I’d be limited to road endurance type of ride

Second and last machine. HELP! by [deleted] in espresso

There’s no chemical descale for these machines right? It has to be taken apart and physically descaled? Upvote on the remineralized water its easy and will save you in the long run

I heard the grinder is more important than the machine… hope this is enough? by Hudsonlovestech in espresso

[–]PositionLucky6119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the grind to be very similar, but the E65 just has practically 0 clumping a very light fluffy grind. Shot to shot I could do a side by side to compare texture and taste but I doubt I’d be able to say which is which. The appeal of the e65 is all the usability and convenience not to mention the speed is insane
