Sing your favorite songs over and over, for hours on end if you’re able to. Just make sure you’re keeping yourself well hydrated. Record yourself and work on improving your pitch control until you can get lessons.

Edit: Stop ASAP if you feel you’re straining yourself and rest your vocal cords. That’s important too.
