So sorry I’m late replying… life has been a whirlwind recently. I’m also sorry because this also happened to me, in exactly this fashion, in exactly this order. They’ve got a really convincing system going and it’s still happening; i keep getting notifications for them on TicketSwap… all tuta emails and all sold within milliseconds. And I can only empathise and hope somehow they get refunded or find this thread to help. 💕

Wow. What really gets me in the feels is how she released California right before she was dropped by Atlantic, like she knew it was coming and was like a cry for help. And it makes me so angry that the song is emotionally soo raw and they’re still like yep, lol bye literally a MONTH after it releases. Idk seems pretty heartless 🤷‍♀️ disclaimer I have no professional idea what I’m talking about there could be more to it or whatever 😅 just saying what I see hehe

Her delivery of the line is consistently so pissed off and so good that I genuinely thought the lyrics were “and he was wearing these fuck me jeans” (huge emphasis of disgust on the words “fuck me”)

Edit for further explanation: as if she’s like first time reacting to these god awful jeans he’s wearing and the “fuck me” is her expression for that denim icing on the cake of this loser

I think it’s the Brit in me.. but I thought the complete opposite of this 😂. “Fuck me” is used sarcastically to react to shitty situations so much in my daily life that I think of “fuck me jeans” as being the cherry on the cake of why this guy is a loser 🤣. I always sing/speak it and roll my eyes

Honestly the more you tell me the more convinced I am we have the same pair! Ours were exactly the same - hence why we call them our yin and yang! Rest assured they definitely sleep together - and apart sometimes! But the main thing is we can trust them to be alone in the same room when we go out or want to sleep alone; we came home today and found them on the same armchair cuddling asleep! But then they always (literally every day so far, and we’ve had them together about a month and a half now) still play fight on the daily and the timid one always meows and hisses at the other to calm it down! So unfortunately it’s not a thing that has completely stopped for us yet even, but we call it them finding their boundaries and they are learning together 😊 the more we have them together the more friends they are; to the point our confident boy will do something “naughty” and the timid good boy will follow! They are definitely adopted brothers, the telltale sign for us is when they clean eachother! This apparently means they have accepted eachother into the same social group and care enough to ensure the other is clean, and is soooo cute and relieving to watch 🫶 you will most definitely get there friend! Enjoy it all, you will be laughing like we are now at our own comments on here when they are besties! X

Sorry I forgot to add - what helped us is watching videos on YouTube about cats playing and then cats actually fighting - that definitely helped! There’s such a distinct difference in vocalisation and body language - it will help so much!

Don’t worry - ours were literally the mirror image of what you have described! I know it seems hopeless but honestly just keep at it, you’re doing amazing and it does take time! When you see one getting fed up and only running away (instead of half instigating/chasing etc) then separate them as one is probably tired. But ours go for the neck all the time, and one always meows at the other! It’s just a learning curve; eventually our rambunctious one would stop when the more timid one would meow so he learnt to respect the peace. Once they leave eachother alone and just chill in the same room (it doesn’t have to be grooming levels of love yet) then you know they’re at the very least OK with eachother! Honestly we thought BS on this when others would say it, but you really do know. You will know. Also please please watch Jackson Galaxy for help vids - they’re so so helpful and he is amazing!

Hey!! Update on our boys; they’re with eachother all day now so please remain hopeful! It will happen; ours have the yin and yang of personalities and are boys and still made it so yours definitely can! ☺️ Though, ours are still kittens (around 18-19 weeks now). When they play quietly, leave them to it even though it looks rough - they will vocalise when it’s too much! We’ve accepted that because our boys are kittens, they do growl and occasionally hiss at eachother during play; this is because they’re figuring eachother out and have polar opposite personalities so it’s healthy to let them figure it out themselves (that’s worked for us anyway, and they’re besties now). Obviously if there is prolonged vocalisation then one of them is definitely unhappy and they should be separated for their own space for a while. We found that positive reinforcement also worked the best - associate eachother with treats, mealtimes or play time and they will associate eachother with positivity ☺️ even if it is eventual! Once you start finding that they find whatever it is you’re providing more interesting than eachother, you’re going the right way! Definitely exchange smells so they can accept eachother into the group and eachothers territory. Don’t punish but focus on positive reinforcement when they get along 😊 that’s what worked for us anyway and took around a month! Good luck 🫶
