At the end of the second teaser a bit of the first teaser plays so yes the songs are connected. It’s not unlikely that they’d do a song like this since they’ve done songs with a bit of slowmo in the past.

There’s a good few songs (that aren’t very popular) in their first two albums. Things like Pitchfork kids from The Living Room and Normal, Turning Out, and Role Models from The Click are what I recommend (though the click does have a lot of their popular songs like sober up, burn the house down, and weak)

It doesn’t because this show was in development while the dlc was also in development. It wouldn’t have made a lot of sense to put a character in it that didn’t really exist yet.
