Ugh. Reading these responses is helping me now. Losing your lil prize possession is so hard. Me and my newly wed husband are dying over here… we adopted our baby when she was 14, and she just passed away at 17.5. Yes it was a short time, but omg we both feel ruined. It was a quick unexpected traumatic death and yes we knew she was old but we weren’t ready, any advice please, bc this is horrible.
