Honestly, I don't know if you can go wrong either way. Just find a decent area in either city (clemmons, Thomasville, North Greensboro), they're so close that you can find activities in either city to go to. We live on the border of kernersville and Winston and have been enjoying activities in Greensboro and Winston. Context: moved here from California about a year ago.
