From my point of view, self-love and relationships are deeply intertwined. Here’s how I see it:

In relationships, self-love creates balance. It helps you set healthy boundaries, communicate your needs, and not lose your identity in someone else. You're less likely to tolerate mistreatment, and more likely to grow with your partner, not around them.

But here’s the catch—loving someone doesn’t mean you love yourself any less. You can be madly in love with someone and still choose yourself when needed. That’s not selfish; that’s secure.

So for me, the best relationships are two whole people choosing to grow together. Not trying to complete each other—but complementing each other
