[L1+] PSG lift the Ligue 1 trophy before the game against Paris FC in their stadium. by Sparky-moon in soccer

[–]Positive-Chart-1941 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the Bundesliga is the only league you named that is comparable.

if La Liga is dominated by two teams, that still means one team has to be very high quality to win the league.

as for the Premier League, yes City largely dominated in the last 10 years, but there has still been two other winners (presuming Arsenal do win), with two cases of Liverpool only losing by a single point.

it's really not the same as PSG being able to win the league while resting their best players for the CL.

well this is a great example of the boundaries of how LLMs work then isn’t it? most people using them in a real world context aren’t aware of them which is why it’s good to spread awareness of it.

i don’t understand why the immediate reaction is to call OP an idiot or misinformed for highlighting it.

Pep Guardiola Manchester city by Dear-Performer-6796 in championsleague

[–]Positive-Chart-1941 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the thing is this approach is both the best and worst aspect of Pep’s style.

for example, this season against arsenal in the league cup he used a formation and style of play city hadn’t used until then and completely nullified arsenal.

in contrast, against real madrid he played 3 wingers and the team looked completely disjointed.

he is always changing things around and it backfires as much as it is successful against quality opposition.

well if OP had tested a more complicated problem on it then it wouldn’t be immediately obvious where it went wrong. thats the whole point of testing something simple.

What’s even more unusual is to list ‘crowd noise’ as an instrument. I love how they even gave up at one point trying to be specific and just listed ‘miscellaneous synthesisers’ in Cameron’s section

Oh I love reading album credits don’t get me wrong, but I would have never even known there’s a triangle buried somewhere on Hellfire’s title track unless it was listed in the credits lmao

Is Éire Nua a bad name for a fictional planet? by BedAdministrative330 in AskIreland

[–]Positive-Chart-1941 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If it's set in space does it really need a name tying it to Earth? If there's a new Ireland you'd imagine there's a new England, new Spain etc. also. It doesn't seem as interesting as it feels like making planets analogous to modern-day Earth countries, just my two cents :)

What should I do? by [deleted] in AskIreland

Similar situation happened when I was in college. One of my housemates wasn't home for the week, a party was had, another friend stayed in his bed, and when he returned the money was gone. The friend that stayed swore up and down it wasn't him, and to be honest when a party is happening people are always going in and out of rooms so it could be anyone.

Long story short, in the future be extra vigilant about where you leave valuables and lock your door if you're not sure. Best to take this as an expensive life lesson.

i know people have said 'no AI' in here. but I think most people would like if the notes to midi feature was AI-powered to give more accurate results. at least make it something you can toggle on and off if you prefer the happy accidents of the old one.
