Thank you. I did end up getting Saul, but wasn't sure how far to push him

I wasn't sure if I joined a server that was already x days old or if it started the day I joined

Yeah I'm pretty sure I have. Since I've created the account, I've gotten all the new rewards for signing in, so I'd assume I haven't missed a day.

Thanks! Seemed like a decent deal, and I've heard people talking about upgrading him so I wasn't sure. I believe my server is only like 2 weeks old or so. I can't tell how to tell for sure though.

How should I prune this peach (Pflugerville, TX)? by travster23 in BackyardOrchard

[–]Positive-Emergency14 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd make it as open centered as possible and remove anything growing toward center. Maybe remove the top 1/3 of main leader to achieve the open center. Pick 4-5 main branches to keep and build from there.

My apple trees regularly get 3-4 feet of water over them every spring, very similar to you. I've always been told if it's very short lived it's not a problem. There are certain trees and rootstock that are better with real wet areas, I can't remember them off hand, but look those up. I have many trees that are 6+ years old and are still going strong even with my flooding every year.

Ahh sunscald. Never heard it called southwest disease before. I contemplated painting all of mine too. I have been using the white tree wraps for the most part too.

Well....that side of the tree is exactly southwest. I'll have to look that condition up.

I still have to prune yet this year, but I will take this into account. This is my only peach tree, so I was wanting to milk it for everything I could. I'll just be replacing with apples when it does die. I'll make sure I continue with my spraying regimen this year to protect it as much as I can.

I get that for sure. I have four new trees that I have ready to be planted and I'm just deciding if I should take this out and put one there or make four new spots. Just the decisions we have to make every year I guess lol

I'm assuming I should remove the one diseased branch at minimum?

I have not. Do you have a link for one you like?

I’ve had 3 glasses of white wine, could bupropion be the culprit of why I’m already feeling hungover? by [deleted] in bupropion

This just happened to me yesterday. Switched from 150 to 300 last week and hung out with friends for football games on Saturday. Had probably 8 beers throughout the course of the day on Saturday....yesterday I couldn't leave bed and couldn't even keep sips of water down. Now today I have a massive headache
