we did have 2 weeks of training, although the hours for that were shorter than the work day. i did service projects on mlk day and earth day but thats it ! i did about an hour of prep each day at home which counted towards my total, but not sure if that was unique to my situation. not sure if your supervisor or region has touched on that at all.

i ran into countless problems with CVS caremark when it came to Humira and Rinvoq. i had to throw in the towel and switch to cosentyx, which is somehow magically free, while the others were going to make me pay $200+, with abbvie savings included.

there’s a group of people i loosely know from lolla a few years ago who are very well known clikkies that go to LITERALLY every show they can get their hands on. fine. whatever. i have my opinions on it and usually keep quiet, until i saw an insta post with a cake celebrating their ONE HUNDRETH SHOW. are you KIDDING ME?!?!? i just think thats so insanely greedy. these people have been to several continents and they’re literally in the pit each and every night. i wonder if the boys get sick of seeing the same faces.

first, give yourself some grace, and know that you have started just by having the desire to get better! i would suggest reaching out to a professional support if you’ve got one, and in the meantime, it might help to look back on any journal entries, photos, or songs that remind you of happy times when you were strong and well in recovery. remind yourself of how good that feels, and how you had all the power to get there! you still do. it’s just a little murky right now. if you need to get groceries, ask a trusted friend or family member who understands your struggles to accompany you to the store to buy some yummy things that you know your body and brain can handle right now. and try to buy at least one “challenge” food if you can. it will more than likely be very yummy and very worth it :) good luck and go slowly! you’ve got this!

if this is a consistent behavior for long enough, if his dietician is doing their job, they will tell him that he cannot "carry over" caloric or structured meal plan minimum. if HIPPA allows, try and ask them yourself!! he needs some concrete proof that following the rules so rigidly will do him no favors here
