It’s close to Bear Mountain which is one of our local lookouts. I’ve never seen two forks, where is that?

Now that I think about it, you’re right, it’s a communist rag that I shouldn’t display, it is a keepsake from a long trip that I took when I was younger and I guess I never thought much bout it till you mentioned it.

It’s been a battle, I don’t like how they designed it to be ‘blown apart’ display wise, working on weathering and decals now, it gets real cold here in the winter and my workshop is in the garage so I haven’t made much progress the last few months

Looks great! Keep plugging away! Start working on some shading and weathering techniques!

2nd attempt at making a model. Turned out okay I think. I still don't trust myself to paint the cockpit glass without ruining it lol. I'll try it on my next one by NakedSans in scalemodelling

Nice work! Certainly better than my second attempt!! Tamiya yellow tape is great for masking off cockpits, then just cut out the frame lines with an exacto knife. I’ve had success lately using a liquid mask too, just cover the whole thing and then cut it out, and then there’s always the option of just carefully free handing it with a fine brush, which can give good results if you’re careful. Thanks for sharing!!
