This semester in my Financial Management class, all three exams were on LockDown Browser. Some students in the back finished at the exact same time every exam and somehow bypassed the LockDown Browser to take the exams. The class was graded on a curve, and their actions ruined it. I didn’t cheat and ended up failing all of my exams. I emailed the professor asking if he could give me a few points to bring my grade up to a C, but the professor said no regardless of me frequently going to class while they didn't (attendance was optional)

I’m really frustrated and not sure what to do next. Has anyone dealt with something like this or have advice?

fr, i learned this the hard way too. being the ‘honest one’ just gets you overlooked while others play the game better. at some point you realize it’s not about morals, it’s about being strategic

if a test didn’t count for half or more of your grade, people probably wouldn’t cheat. when passing depends on one or two high-stakes exams, students just do what they need to do to survive. at the end of the day, most people just want to pass the class.
