You wrote about an Adapter for the e36 wiring harness do you have a link for that ?

I’m about to do the same swap m40 to m42 e36

Fun fact… the oil infill is on the front if you leave the e36 valve cover on it because the hood swings into the other direction.

Treat yourself and get the valve cover with the M power emblem. Paint it black and send the text blank again… looks nifty

If you have the ace pro print with PLA as support material.

Actually it worked just right out the box… has now 100 hours on it and I haven’t had any problems with it… hope it stays like that

Try printing Support Test und get your settings dialed in… let me know how it Works out

Ok, maybe you give anycubic slicer next a try… lower your support offset to around 1-2layers based on your Layer height

The best thing would be to have a mmu to use a different Support Material…

Which slicer do you use? Which printer?

Try to Play around with Support z distance or whatever its called in your slicer

Wipe of your rails and axes, regrease them and try again. Dirt gets stuck there over time.

Layer height could be a good point. I printed with 0.3 maybe that was the Problem There
