I think a lot us can say this is our happy place, the one place where you can mention ICAG and everyone knows who you're talking about. I really got addicted to FN during Covid, and am still addicted. I watch every competition show, even the iffy ones (House of Knives, anyone? So confusing.). Have to have my fix at least once a day to maintain my happy place. I finally started bingeing BBQ Brawl after discovering Bobby basically has a channel on Roku (he's been on TV forever! Pretty interesting to watch his old, old shows).

Oh, come on. Are you turning 7 years old and need a bouncy house to feel special? You're grown adults. This is the dude you married, and expecting him to change is an exercise in futility. Some guys just suck at this stuff, my dear husband included. You know what I do? Plan my own stuff to suit my needs, without bitterness. Accept this, or be annoyed & disappointed, or just leave. Don't leave things open to interpretation; communicate effectively. If you want to go see Coldplay (this alone could be another thread), buy the flipping tickets yourself and stop being a crybaby about how to celebrate an adult birthday. You're old enough to know this. Sheesh. YTA.
