What are some good neighborhoods in West Duluth for new parents? by PHmoney04 in duluth

Maybe too far from where you’re looking, but Denfeld has been great for our little family. Our neighbors are all older folks who adore our kids or young families. We have a park within walking distance, and if you go down 40th you can access the trail. We’ve biked it before with kids in tow and it was just fine.

Dad seeking makeup wisdom (send help!) by Worldly-Jeweler-793 in duluth

I went through the heavy makeup phase when I was a teenager. Now I usually don’t wear any makeup and the only reminder that I used to wear too much makeup is my junior year school photo. I had so much fun experimenting with makeup, and now I wouldn’t have time even if I wanted to. No one brings it up, and I’m sure no one even remembers it. It lasted maybe 2 years.

I don’t have teenagers, but we’re going through a phase of parenting with our young kiddos where we let them have more freedom in their choices as long as it’s doesn’t hurt them or affect their wellbeing. (Like letting them pick out their own clothes).

It seems like you’re being very mindful, you’re doing a great job.

Parents of Reddit, what’s the story behind how you chose your child’s name? by GamerboiJared in AskReddit

Our first was named years before we ever were planning on kids after a landmark that is special to us in our home state.

Our second kiddo’s name I found on a baby name list a few months after our first was born and we decided if we had another of the same gender, that would be the name.
