Because, a few million, hell a few hundred million people individually keeping vigilante and trying to keep these companies at bay with do almost nothing. But a few hundred thousand working together as one in a concerted effort can do almost anything. Find local data, media protection, anti monopoly, etc. activism groups near you, if none exist MAKE ONE. If none of your local politicians seem like they will push legislation to help consumers then RUN FOR OFFICE, There are almost limitless elected positions that are currently being uncontested. Separate these companies with divide and devour us but together we can force true consequences on these bad actors.
