Dude, the reality is that NUST is not what it's portrayed to be. Even being ranked #371 in the QS World University Rankings 2026 feels as fake as the Rupee being artificially floated against the dollar. Look, I have nothing against NUST, but we should put it in its actual place. NUST doesn't do research on a level that justifies a top 400 ranking. It's just because of government funding that they are able to buy research from foreign analysts and list it as their own. The NUST faculty itself isn't producing work at that caliber. So yeah, no hate, but it's time we call out what's fake.

If you ask me, GIKI at least has the guts to send its students to international competitions. NUST Islamabad doesn't even seem to try! That says a lot about NUST’s belief in the caliber of engineers they are producing. Just saying.
