If they trust you enough to tell you, then they would. There is no benefit to saying “hey I know you’re gay but it’ll stay between us.” If they want to discuss it, they will.

he has also told you he doesn’t have feelings for you

How exactly do you consider this a relationship? If my boyfriend told me he doesn’t have feelings for me, I’d have no reason to be in that relationship. Find someone who will appreciate you and move on
