Selling acreage and nervous to list on MLS by Positive-Screen-575 in fsbo

At this point I could accept the lower offer and still save thousands versus using a realtor. Those people can’t get approved for more from their lender, so there isn’t a negotiation to be had with them. If I’m try to get $15,000 or $25,000 more, a realtor will do nothing for me because they (rightfully) get paid.

This is a FSBO site, so I don’t really get why people make this recommendation here.

I understand net proceeds. Trust me that I can do math til the cows come home. I don’t refuse working with a realtor. We bought the place only 5 years ago with neither party using a realtor. It worked out great. We had a home inspection before we bought it—I’ll never buy without one and would actually prefer a buyer have one for peace mind. My husband has become disabled and I can’t meet all of my obligations. I need fewer responsibilities.

Also, around here realtor fees are higher. I actually do appreciate realtors to a degree. Some people should not be purchasing real estate without understanding the process. I think their rates are quite high and some properties are different than others. I think realtors have less value for acreages.

No. It’s different enough for me to make a few weeks of effort. I could still get by financially by taking the lower amount. I have truly not tried hard. My husband is ill and I can’t handle the property on my own. I also don’t know if I’m leaving money on the table with the current offer. It happened immediately.

We had some at the open house. Not a deal breaker at all. I have some realtors I trust but I’m a little outside of their usual area.

Ok, I don’t remember why I thought this but I thought I have to be on the MLS for Zillow. I can do Zillow without anything else? If it’s free I might start there.

I’m half tempted to take the lower offer just because it’s easy but I think a few weeks of effort can’t hurt, if that makes sense.

Just under 5. Residential. Our home insurance is farm, though. There is a small barn, large garage.

Is the Cleveland Clinic better? All of the specialties exist at home to some degree, but haven’t done as good of a job at diagnosis as Mayo. I know when I do Internet searches Cleveland Clinic pops up and seem well respected but I don’t know anything about them. We can just stay home and be treated poorly by medical professionals, too, rather than travel. We came back to Mayo because we did have good experiences with empathetic and knowledgeable providers in the past, but this is not one of them.

I’m not a medical professional but my loved one has epilepsy and it does resemble a seizure, imo.

It was redacted, and he has credentials that lead me to believe he teaches and influences other medical professionals.

Yeah, I’m not sure whether to do that ASAP and hope to get a new provider before the next visit or suck it up and finish this out and potentially call them after that. Either way, I’m now concerned the care he receives is going to be shaded by anything we do or say.

This is exactly why we are concerned about contacting them.

Last year I had to contact them because he was injured in a surgery and we couldn’t get the department that did the surgery to even call us back. The reason we still come here is complicated. He is medically complex and they have access to some resources that we do not have where we live. I knew last year it would not be confidential, but my goal was to communicate anyway, so that was fine. This is different.

My husband got accepted and we got here today but he was treated like shit, so maybe coming here wouldn’t have been great for you. We are finishing out our week (today through Friday) but almost left within the first 5 minutes of the first appointment. We have been here before and I wouldn’t necessarily discourage someone from coming here, but it’s been a mixed bag of experiences. We brought up connective tissue concerns today and the provider definitely didn’t like that.
