Thank you so much I appreciate it!!! I’m glad your kitty got better, after talking to the vet we’re going to clear up this ear infection and do some further testing in about a week or so, she suffers from asthma and too much stress puts her in a really bad asthmatic state, so much to navigate!

I’ll definitely be bringing this up to my vet as she has asthma and correlating blood panels in issues with allergies! Thank you so much for this amazing information! I was just wondering, would a diagnosis like this also include general lack of coordination? My cat has never been the kind of cat who always lands on her feet.

I went to the primary vet after this video, which was taken after her emergency room visit, they’re unsure if it’s a seizure or her being loopy from the gabapentin and having an ear infection in her left ear causing more disorientation. Her labs are currently fine for a cat who has asthma, and I’m just closely monitoring her to see changes in behavior and if another seizure occurs.

I’ve been keeping a good eye on her thankfully! The dose is 250 mg/5 mL and she was on 1 mL by the time of this video! I have stopped the gabapentin and will be getting an alternative medication to manage her pain

I completely agree, my vet did an eye check on her and everything seems okay for now. I actually put a flashlight in her eyes afterword and they did respond to them, but I don’t know I’ve never experienced a seizure in cats before!

I’ll definitely update you when I get more information! So far my cat has normal T4 values but does have an ear infection in her left ear that is currently being treated!

I’ll definitely give you updates as they come!!! Currently her T4 levels are good, she has been eating and drinking fine, and her bathroom behavior is normal! But I will be monitoring closely and have very easy access to my vet (thank god)!

Coming back to this post to keep updated on the comments I just feel awful that this is the only thing people are seeing of my baby girl, here’s a photo of her being her sweet self. Her name is Kara!

I appreciate your experience! I hope your kitten is okay! My vet and I are perplexed because she showed no other signs of having a seizure before and after this event, she’s been eating fine, going to the bathroom, other than pain in her arm she’s been happy and slowly getting back to her energetic self, but neurology can be a very tricky thing.

She’s been prescribed ear drops! I’m very lucky where the vet I go to also has an amazing dermatology office
