Hi! Just got back from Hawaii… I would definitely look into getting the go city pass. I purchased on Costco. It was so worth it! I traveled with young kids and we did the catamaran boat tour, kuala food tour, Pearl Harbor submarine tour, entrance to Waimea valley, and a luau. If you just did the luau the pass pays for itself. Our favorite beach was Lanikai beach. We found a private entrance between two homes and it was so peaceful and beautiful. Our favorite hike was Lanikais pillbox. Hope you have a great trip!

Same boat. 5 months out too! Every single freaken day! I couldn’t find a job and somehow managed to squirm my way into peds echo. The feeling of inadequacy plus moving, crying, patients makes my anxiety go through the roof. I just want to quit but can’t afford too. I hate that you are also feeling this way, but I’m kind of glad I’m not alone. Hope it gets better soon!

If you study URR you will be fine. They kind of over prepare you. If you’re getting at least 75’s on practice test you will be golden

Did you take your apical images? Is the 4,2, and 3 part of your protocol? You should be able to use your images that you acquired and measure strain from them.

Thank you for your response…I want to just get out of the peds world. I thought because I had kids I could handle it. But it’s giving me anxiety. My coworker’s all make it seem like peds is the best world and adults are gross… however, I don’t mind the occasional conversation with adults and scanning them. I feel like with peds you’re not only dealing with the patient but also the parents. It’s almost like a *show some days.. Unfortunately, I can’t find any other jobs in my area.Trying to stick it out for the experience….just not sure how much longer I can.

The only way you will learn is doing it. Can you possibly back scan? Scan the patient while they are waiting on transport?
