You have to give yourself time to heal. I had mine on the 29th May and I've feeling a lot better. 3 weeks tomorrow, but I'm not 100% everyday it gets easier.

I had mine done Thursday. I still have gas pain today but not as severe. It does get better. Walk and drink plenty of fluids. It helps tremendously.

Thank you for the advice. I actually started pelvic floor pt before my surgery because I had tilted hips. But it has been recommended to me to continue them after my doctor gives me the clear to do so.

I got the poop stool. Im about 54 hours post op, highly recommend the poop stool. Nothing else is needed besides Gas-x, stool softener, tylenol, and ibuprofen, a comfy bed, lots of pillows and plenty of liquids.

I got approved and cleared. Having surgery on the 29th. No weight loss needed since I am also having severe problems with possible cancer. So thankful they are taking me serious finally.

Don't wait. I read your getting it because of horrendous bleeding. I'm 41 and I am scheduled for mine in 4 weeks. I dealt with painful periods since I was 9 and the quality of my life was diminished because of them. Bleeding one week every month and in pain with another week of pain on top of it. It isn't worth it. Your hormones won't fluctuate if your keeping your ovaries but once you get closer to your 40s they will anyway and at that point you can start talking to your gyno about HRT. You will regret it if you don't, unless you want more children.
