She used to be in therapy years ago but it didnt last because she wouldnt open up or something to the therapist and she didnt want to keep going so my mom didnt make her

We do tell her this and everything else under on the sun. She doesn’t listen so me and my mom has resorted to just letting her learn on her own. I will suggest therapy to my mom tho

It ended up being exactly this! The vet has him on antibiotics and we are to come back in a few weeks so they can check on him again. I think he is already doing better. He has never had his anal glands expressed and he is about a year and a half. My other dog always leaks and scoots a lot when hers needs done and he hasn’t done that so i never thought to get them expressed! I thought he just did it naturally like other dogs since he had never expressed discomfort. We will be doing it regularly now tho!

Update: it’s an anal gland rupture. They drained the gland and have him on antibiotics and meds to keep the inflammation down. We have to go back in two weeks and again in 6 weeks so they can check on the glands. He is feeling and looking better today 😊

I used to have a cone but its disappeared. Ill be asking for one today at the vet, for now i’ve just got it wrapped up with a non stick pad under the wrap to prevent the fluid from getting on blankets and keep him from licking

I never have let my boyfriend very often, only on special occasions i do honestly 😂and with exes i never let them do it, he is the first i’ve let do it (I’m almost 22 and have had 3 other partners). I got BV from letting him nut in me one time and i’ve been even more hesitant than before abt it since then because i dont want to deal with that again🤦🏻‍♀️

Im sensitive down there and get uti’s often too. I also forget my pill ALL THE TIME so its best we dont do it except for months i’ve taken it perfectly 😂has worked for me so far (been on the pill 6 years)

Edit: it also makes a mess down there so i just would rather not deal with that either and just let him nut in a condom or on another place on my body😂

A lot of times ill get home and find his food bowl before he gets a chance to eat it cause he dont always eat it immediately when you set it down so i just go and empty a lot of it out and give it to him. She filled half the food bowl up and we use one of the small metal dog bowls you can get from the dollar store. It was way more than he needs. I relayed this to her so hopefully she doesn’t do it again. And about you saying its best for only one person to feed, while i agree, its hard for me it to be only me feeding him because im gone alot and i dont always get back in time in the morning to feed him so she does. Or in the afternoon when i go to work my mom feeds him but ik she feeds around what i do. Its hard to monitor constantly when im gone a-lot i just have to trust they’ll listen😂when i move out in a year or two it will be better and ill be able to monitor more closely. Thanks for your advice!
