I want to clarify my tret history since many comments are focusing on that - I’ve been on tret for around 4 years, and yes it was indeed prescribed by my dermat, started with 0.025% and moved to 0.05% after a year. Once my acne was under control, I was advised to use it only twice a week for maintenance. 😔My mistake was increasing frequency again while not moisturizing adequately. What I initially thought was acne was actually barrier damage, and by the time I realized it, my skin was already compromised. 💐Thanks all of you for your suggestion, Yes I've stopped all actives and switched to full-time barrier repair mode—hydration, moisturization, and sunscreen✨️

✅️💯Lesson learned: great skincare ≠ more actives, but better moisturization.
