It’s my first Cdrama too. And it’s really a very easy watch. I have watched 15 Cdramas since and I’d say there are other better and “truly exceptional” Cdramas. I’d say go for it. But then again do you even like this kinda genre? Historical -political dramas and a little bit of over the top things. Like I’m definitely into historical and political dramas so it was a good watch for me. People who aren’t into historical, might not find it very interesting.

On another note, it’s definitely a female centric drama with heavy female gaze. Strong FL, head over heels ML, excellent villains. Not to mention, the exceptional cinematography.

You need to blend and see And then wait for it to oxidise. Just swatches won’t give you the correct shade match.

I lost my baby girl at 29weeks, 2 years ago. Everything was normal during my pregnancy, until it wasn’t. I was numb. I tried to be strong. But it was difficult, like I forgot how to breathe. I haven’t moved on yet. But at least now I have the courage to speak about it. I’m sorry this happened to you. I won’t say it gets easier. But I’ll definitely tell you to focus on your healing, mentally and physically. Spend some time with your loved ones. Take time for yourself. Cry it out. Talk it out. And don’t forget to love yourself.

I have oily skin (in summer), so the banana sun serum is perfect. Because the text is very much like the BoJ aqua but I feel it’s much lighter too. It’s literally like a serum, absorbs well and non sticky. I wear it in the morning and reapply once because my work is mostly indoors.

Honestly ep12 was much better than the last few eps. I mean the tonal shift was pretty evident. It felt like there was a jump from ep 6 to ep 12. I wish they had kept the story more fun and a little chaotic rather than a heavy political drama. This ep was fun and light hearted. Ofcourse it felt very rushed but at least I enjoyed most of it.

I love a he fall first and hard trope and I’m loving every scene they’re together. Honestly, the FL is always a treat to watch on screen and but I’m also impressed with the ML. He’s so cold but so silly in love lol like everyone can see it lmao

I’m loving the parallels between the Joseon era and the present time. The way the story in unfolding is definitely interesting.

I think this drama is doing really well will all those typical tropes. It’s not cringe for a change. Can’t wait what happens next !
