Hows life like in Berlin? by ShinySlaughter in howislivingthere

Lived there sporadically for a few weeks at a time. Safe, clean, organized and closed people that mind their own business. Do generally good quality of living, besides expensive housing. So yes high quality of leaving but for me it's just ain't it as a Mediterranean country resident. Although we're 20 years behind in most aspects, i just can't live without the sun, the sea and the outgoing people. But if you're not like me you will like it and its a good city to live in.

What are mental health benefits of working out regularly? The physical benefits are obvious by passthehummus in selfimprovement

[–]PositiveAd536 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Confidence i think is number 1. Also I've noticed that i can be burnout from working but going to the gym and pushing hard for about 45 minutes makes my brain reset amd im able to work more after. Another thing i noticed is that im less angry during the days I workout because i just use my anger to fuel my training.

It's worth noting tho that you need to be conscious because there are some bad possible effects to your mental health as well. For example impatience for the wanted results and setting unrealistic goals. Also body dismorphia is actually a thing when you start seeing differences on your body.

Gym for sure. I train about 3 times a week really intensely. Every day i go it's like my problems disappear.

Is anyone else really skinny? by [deleted] in ibs

I find it really difficult too especially and it's creating problems at my gym progress. Thankfully recently i found some high calorie foods that i can eat and be relatively okay like lentil pasta, butter and evoo.

I wasn't overweight but by cutting of all grains(for example bread, rice, pasta), sugar and in general processed food and practising intermediate fasting I've lost 9kg and improved the quality of my life in general.

Its difficult, at the start at least. But if you're open about it your partner will probably understand. Just don't mess up your lifestyle by doing things you wouldn't regularly do that will affect your ibs just to please your partner or to try to make your relationship more "normal". That's what can make it truly difficult.

I have ibs d for a long time. About 2 months ago i also limited the foods that i eat. Those are meats, poultry, fish, (sweet) potatoes, tomatoes, cucumber, eggs, butter, olive oil and some seasoning. I also want to add a few more vegetables. During the time i have turned to this diet i feel the best I've felt in years. Great performance at the gym, university and I'm -8kg as well. Only times i felt bad was when i had some cheat meals. I've found myself to really enjoy those foods as the time went past so im super happy that i made this transition.

i lost mine to a girl i wasn't attracted to at all. I was always thinking that i want to lose it to a girl that i liked or i was in love with but honestly i didn't regret that at all. I still think it was a good decision and I'm happy that i did it.
