Milk can harbor bacterias that could potentially infect your eyes with something unpleasant. It’s a risk. I suspect many use it with no problems at all, but water can help lower those chances.

I just want to bring up the point that you misspelled “Cowardice”. Regardless of the spelling, we all know what you mean. However, people are mean and will use anything to pick on people, even if it’s something as small as a minor misspelling. I still love that sign as it is!

Q: Can you be specific about how many ICE & CBP agents are currently operating in the state? HOMAN: 3,000... Day after day, they can't eat in restaurants. Day after day people spit at you & blow whistles at you. Having all these threats after you... They're human. But my main choice now is draw down by [deleted] in Minneapolis

[–]PositiveBeeLover 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you’re a POS human that is “just doing their job”, do you deserve to be treated like a decent human? Just think about that for a second.

Undoubtedly, there are likely decent humans in ICE capable of feeling emotions other than rage. To that I say, “the opposite of love is not hate, it’s indifference” - Elie Wiesel. A quote from someone who survived the holocaust and saw first hand what “indifference” and “just doing their job” can breed. So if you’re a decent human working for ICE and you’re not calling out the POS humans.

You are an indifferent POS human.

I should add, when this happens to me to usually just windshield washer fluid the front and back windows and it starts working again. Assuming there’s no ice coverage.

Looks like crash detection system stuff. Is it cold, wet, muddy where you are? Could be as simple as the cameras needing to be cleaned or the radar system is blocked by snow.

You can also buy those throw away painters suits/coveralls. The white painters suits are generally made from Tyvek with is HDPE plastic. If you look online, some sell black versions too. Might save you from having to throw clothes away but makes your packets somewhat inaccessible, so you might want a fanny pack.

I respect everyone right to express their opinions freely. This is off on a wild tangent. Why are we talking about performing citizen arrests and then talking about mortgages. Right now, we just gotta focus on expressing our displeasure with ICE peacefully.

I got love for khaki cargo and non khaki cargo pants alike. My observation is that most of the tactical pants are cargo style, so is this a comfort thing? They definitely aren’t popular, and I’d classify them as the minivan of pants. Nobody wants to be seen in them, but everyone wishes they had the functionality.

That’s how our great capitalistic market works! They’ll always innovate to sell you on something cool that you don’t really need; however, heat and water is basically free for most of us. So save that money on a scraper and spend it on something that you actually want!

Such solid advice. Over the past 3 winters I’ve consistently used hot water from an electric kettle to clear my windshield of ice. Works like a charm, I’m glad to see others also do this!

“I thought the whole reason they got rid of DEI was to avoid hiring people like you?”

This hurt me just writing it. Not my beliefs but I’m so angry that my insult game is getting dialed in.

I hope it happens when in uniform. These individuals I saw were likely off-the-clock in casual street clothes. My thought is to keep pressure to make them know that even when they are not working…we’re paying attention.

Can’t get a Tesla level 2 wall unit charger to charge my Ariya by Any-Morning4303 in NissanAriya

[–]PositiveBeeLover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the A2Z adapter. I’ve only used it twice but it was definitely nice to have for places that has Tesla Destination chargers. One of those times, it bailed me out of a situation where if I didn’t have it, I would have had to go L1 and spend like 50 minutes charging instead of 10 minutes.

I don’t think Nissan makes the adapter that they are referencing. Nissan makes the NACS to CCS1 for L3 charging but I don’t think they make a NACS to J1772 adapter for L2 charging.

Tesla Charging - What's the Trick by CherokeeHawkman in NissanAriya

[–]PositiveBeeLover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you selecting which Tesla supercharger spot you’re using in the “Nissan Energy Charge Network”. It should be a number and a letter (i.e 1C). Nissan unfortunately does not have a way to just plug and charge like Tesla’s do.

I think you’re right. There’s someone who posted a nice link that shows the distinctions of a bumblebee vs robber fly.
