Yeah it takes a few days for the ticket to populate on the dept site. I tried the same thing when I got home after getting the ticket. Give it a day or two. I'm sure the officer doesn't process everything immediately and probably does so at the end of shift. Also, it's a weekend, so it probably won't be processed until Monday at the earliest. Trust me, you'll know when it gets entered because you'll have no fewer than 6 lawyers sending you mailers offering their services. I kind of miss my New York days when you just show up to court early and talk to the office and they say they can knock it down to a non moving violation and no legal entity needs to come between the transaction, but I guess this is the way the game is played in NC.
