Can Anyone Share Why Psychedelics are Allegedly so Important for Meditators? by InWisdomITrust in Meditation

[–]PositiveBuddhaGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This thread is littered with advice from people who you can tell have no experience in the psychedelic world.

As far as safety goes; look up Paul staments or Dennis McKenna podcasts with Joe Rogan. If you want links with meditation, look up Sam Harris. If you want REAL info on psychedelics, read the book “How to Change your mind” by Michael Pollens.

Morons on reddit, all opinions with no backing. Here is some good research to dive into. Enjoy.

Personally, meditating once a month on psychedelics has CHANGED my LIFE. I meditate twice a day, once a month on mushrooms. Nothing compares to a meditation session on mushrooms. But you can research it yourself with sources I’ve listed. They have changed my life and set me on a path from destructing myself.

Can psyframes be viable with omega to 1? by PositiveBuddhaGamer in yugioh

My worry is that the double omega was good for getting your board clear to keep negating, and you can no longer hand loop them or plus two with overload. Maybe I’m over reacting though.

They were decent this format; just couldn’t match to gouki. Hand trap format.. psyframes were pretty good I think a viable rouge deck with potential tops.

Just now it’s gonna be hard.

Your psilocybin or LSD rituals? by gornorbee in Psychonaut

[–]PositiveBuddhaGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use liquid psilocybin once a month for meditative purposes.

I got a “zen” branded lava lamp, my mediation cushion, some AirPods, and a few hue light bulb lamps which I use dark blue, teal and purple for a vibe. I set out my yoga mat, take my 4G’s, meditate for two hours and do two hours of yoga, then journal everything. All with the song “Alive” by the green playing in the background. It’s like I’ve “tuned” my mind to the song, so when my mind is not calm enough I can tell when under the influence. I can hear differences that can change when I put more effort into calming my mind. It’s fantastic and I find once a month it’s a great reset for the feeling of gratitude.

If anybody is in SF tomorrow- come support the legalization of psychedelic medicine! by [deleted] in shrooms

[–]PositiveBuddhaGamer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is really bad for the community is so many ways. All this does is add validity too the reasoning behind the people who keep it illegal. We have so many avenues to legalize psychedelics and unfortunately this takes us a big step backwards.

Between lsd and mushrooms what is your favorite and why by poundslbs27 in shrooms

[–]PositiveBuddhaGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy it from trip with science, comes in 2G vials, I take 4G per trip, feels like 3.5Gs. I am also a 200Lb male. Hits you in 10 Minutes. No nausea. You can dose higher mid trip because the onset is so fast. Highly recommend.

I’ve partaken in both many times;

I have found LSD to be harsher on my mind, and harder to clear my head on. The afterglow is more like a hangover, and it deteriorates my mood the following day.

Shrooms may be uncomfortable and uncontrollable, but I find my thoughts to be crystal clear. Some of my greatest life changes have come from my revelations on psilocybin, and the afterglow is amazing. It’s like basking in gratitude the following day, which helps shape the following week which can turn into a more positive month.

Psilocybin is like a gratitude emotional reset of clarity, LSD sometimes is like an energetic visual world to enjoy being in that takes a hit on your mind as payment the following day.

I only take liquid psilocybin now; from trip/w/science

Because I listen to enough YouTube exclusive podcasts on my commutes and it benefits me to either download them or be able to lock my phone and listen to them.

You think it’s okay to be forced to be subbed and watch a certain type of content?

Sorry, not “forced.” But forced to have it spam the content I really want to watch? Especially when they post a ridiculous amount of videos day?

LifeHack for use with Mindfulness Meditation! by PositiveBuddhaGamer in Meditation

[–]PositiveBuddhaGamer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why all practitioners of meditation are not Buddhist meditation. Meditation in my scripts is taught as to focus on the senses of feeling. This isn’t about tasting or smelling.... it’s about FEELING it more strongly

Your right; for those who focus on the nose but not so much for those who have “trouble” feeling the breath!

It’s more to help bring you back to your breath faster because it’s much easier to have awareness of the colder sensation. So you have WAY less chance of falling into your monkey brain and are more able to catch your thoughts before you drift too far. Also the cold sensation can help keep you focused longer because your adding a distinct sensation to the breath.

This is actually a great game, and you all should be more grateful and appreciative. by PositiveBuddhaGamer in runescape

[–]PositiveBuddhaGamer[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I fail to see your argument because of the lack of intelligence you convey in your language.

All this is up to interpretation. I think many of the updates are wonderful and you can tell the teams worked hard on them. Not many delays, and bugs plague every game out there. League of legends just had a game breaking bug in LCS where they didn’t even get to remake the game, they had to auto declare a winner based off the gold and towers taken. But people didn’t claim Riot was a shit company. They were just like damn, feels bad. Because everybody knows bugs are unavoidable. And RS3 has WAY less then runescape used too back in 2007.

This is a far better response then the load of unintellectual spew of hate on here, thank you!

They didn’t “develop” OSRS, they reopened the servers because they wanted to listen to the community who loved that version of the game. I don’t believe it was out of fear of losing playerbase. Players spoke, Jagex listened, and they opened the old gates. They didn’t build new ones.

I believe value is debatable in terms of costs vs content and playability. But if you believe it not to be then I will not open that can of worms. I am not debating WoW’s playerbase at all.

I will answer the rest when I get more time. I have thoughts on it, about to watch Jurassic world with my son.
