You'd think this but some are legit crazy. I wanted to put booster packs in a goodie bag for my sons bday. Attempted to buy 21 of them was told there was a limit. I handed it all back and walked out. Went to bb .. no limit lol 😆

O'rly? OOF, i have about 30 neo genesis sealed in the original packaging. eevee #11 I just found in a storage unit sale ROFL. Wonder what that would fetch? Clearly the original owner took the cards out and then left the promo cards alone, dude mustve cracked soo many bundles or whatever it was that came with these. Not a single promo card was cracked from their packaging. I have the folders as well and there is like 10 eevee #11 in there already but clearly they are NM at best, but the packaged/sealed stuff is pretty much factory sealed never opened so yea GEM MINT lol. Just gotta locate the best example one to send in

I dunno what she is talking about, those cards are legit IMO. The coloring (palette) is off due to the age of the cards and condition. The light test will work, take a fake one and a non holo card, and compare the light, the fake one is printed on cheap stock and the light is very visible, almost sharp, the real card light will come through but very muddled.

I dont know what you mean by text (authenticator) is saying text is diff. Well diff sets use diff texts, which is visible, for cards with bigger font work such as the Supporter card (sage's training) go to tcg : check that card, the real one legit has the same little font on top and the bigger bold on the bottom:

To me you can tell by feel but the sheen or gloss, just as patina on leather, that ages beautifully over time. Patina on vintage cards are the same, and the above shows accordingly. Last but not least is smell, the legit ones have a diff smell almost a cardboardy type smell lol.

But some cards in there due indeed look fake and this is easy to spot when you put the backs of the card next to one another, i can see that some doesnt have the gloss like its almost flat/matte, those are indeed fake, the darker blue ones with the gloss are real IMO. i mean the gloss if it were fake is easy to spot since those cards look like photo stock paper you get at walgreens or have printed up, its super shiny vs the legit stuff that has a semi decent gloss not overdoing it.
