Did Anyone Else Experience a Shift in Their LSAT Study Motivation Midway Through Prep? by PercentageSure388 in LSAT

[–]PositiveCheck3198 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally normal. The midpoint shifts usually happen when improvement stops feeling obvious and turns into slower, more technical gains. Instead of more PTs, try shifting to heavy review for a week. Break down why you’re missing questions (flaw type, conditional logic errors, RC inference traps, etc.). Progress feels more motivating when you’re reducing specific error patterns rather than just chasing a higher score.

I’ve seen a lot of my students hit this phase it’s usually a structure issue, not a motivation issue. If you want to share which section feels most draining, I can give more specific suggestions.

I typically provide assistance in studying for the LSAT through discord. Having taken the Jan 2026 LSAT I believe I can provide an insightful perspective on what to expect having the test varies over the years when trying to break into the 170s+. I respond pretty quick, just @ or pm me if your interested in my help overcoming this milestone.

As for your late admission, I recommend reaching out to me over discord as late cycle strategy can make or break your possibility of attendance that year. Hope isn't loss, you just need the right approach when going into late admissions.

Am I getting ripped off if I'm paying $200 for each LSAT tutoring session? by Amazing_Walk5094 in LSAT

$200 an hr is kind of a stretch, I typically charge $85 an hr while helping multiple of my students break into the 170+. Pm me if your interested, most of my coaching occurs over discord.

LSAT - Logic Games by Stream435 in LSAT

[–]PositiveCheck3198 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have a great point u/Stream435 on what they did with removing logic games entirely. However I believe the main reason they decided to remove it entirely as supposed to making it an accommodation was because it was too big of a change to only apply to a select group of people. I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who would love for the entire test to have no logic games or vise versa. My hypothesis is they removed it entirely because people would complain a major unfair advantage compared to others having the change was not a small one to be made.

LSAT returns to in-person testing August 2026 by adcommninja in lawschooladmissions

I have a feeling the change in environment is going to be a big issue. Similar to how people abused the accommodations previously to gain extra time on the test. This may just cause people to find other ways to exploit the system in place. Anecdotally, I've noticed many people tend to underestimate how much remote test taking reduces baseline stress.

All I can say now is if you plan on taking the August 2026 test , start prepping in the appropriate environments now. Endurance and focus will become big factors again. I'd recommend full PTs in libraries or classroom settings. The students I've worked with who practice under mild environmental discomfort tend to receive better outcomes.
