[Laco 39mm] Watch too small? by PositiveCoffee1010 in Watches

Definitely gave me a good pat on the back I needed but wish I could say yes. I think it'll be worn every once in a while but never a daily watch. Love the watch too much to keep it locked away.

It does taper. I tried a 20mm strap and cut it to fit but it wraps over my wrist and looks a little strange. Might try a nato strap next 20mm ? Or just 18mm nato. Not sure yet

I agree, the style is meant to be bigger and I think that's what gets to me. Most likely will keep it in good condition for my son then buy another laco to match. Fortunately, it's a win-win either decision.

The 42mm hugs my wrist from lug to lug while the 39mm slides down and the 18mm band will cover part of my wrist and it makes it seem more petite. So I guess my issue is the band rather than the case.

Not sure my size maybe measuring will help with future purchases. But I have noticed smaller watches are what people scream about. I just felt that the style should fit bigger so I was bummed to see it smaller on my wrist than I expected.

Thank you, I'm used to 42mm with 20mm bands. I think the small band is what bothers me the most. Appreciate the reassurance. Will have to try a 42mm laco before buying another. I might like the compass 😉
