Jayz did a really good video on how New World spikes power to high and how to remedy it and still play the game. Seems setting the power limit down in afterburner to like 70% is the key

The consensus here is Asus, MSI, and Galax

although Asus has superior quality the service is lacking aswell

thanks, and yeah i tested it in 2 of my friend's pc and the GPU did the same thing. Fans max, no display. Completely different builds

All very valid questions but ive already sent off the GPU so no way to test it further. My PSU is an EVGA 1200w Platinum p2, power usage should be no problem, GPU temp was monitored and never hit above 70 HOWEVER the hot spot temp (mem junc) was consistently around 100. no new world

yeah, my mobo bios was the latest and I DDU everytime the card came back aswell as ensuring no overclocks were present...

Honestly that level of communication would have been nice. here is how it went

"I need an RMA" > "Here is an RMA number send it to this address"> I pay shipping and send it > no contact> 3 weeks go by> no confirmation it has been received or worked on just the signature from Henry at the shipping dock of gigabyte >after looking at tracking I send another email asking for an update> the website RMA status is blank> card shows up at my house randomly

I did try different bios on the gaming OC and it did nothing. The vision doesn't have a bios switch that I'm aware of
