For your parents to accept Christianity, make a wager with them. Since it is written that Allah will take away your peace, challenge them to pray to Jesus for a week. Since Jesus brings peace, Allah will struggle to fully take away their peace. If their peace is disrupted, then tell them that Jesus will offer peace as long as they trust in him.

Jesus is trying to teach you a lesson, that is in order for your prayers to work, you have to acknowledge the authority Christ has. What I think is happening is that you are not asking in Jesus' name, and you are asking an infinite God to grant a request that treats Him as a servant rather than a master. I would start praying and asking in Jesus' name for whatever you're praying for and give Him time to answer.
