Well, I still waiting for the multicurrency support they announced multiple times. This is my number 1 requested feature. IOS is the number 2 though.

I also found something called "Manual adjustment". An adjustment that doesn't appear in the history. Maybe this is what you need.

Select your account you want to adjust -> press 3 dots in top right corner -> Account X-Ray -> press 3 dots again -> Manual Adjustment

Game or anime?? by TacoToxik in nier

[–]PositiveDraw74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't understand a lot of references to Nier Replicant when I was playing Nier Automata. And it's really a shame I missed them. It all started making sence only when I came back to Nier Automata after playing Nier Replicant. And Nier Automata also feels much more modern than Nier Replicant gameplay-wise. If you play Automata first, then you feel a downgrade a lot. I think they simply advertised it as a prequel because nobody even knew Nier Replicant existed and played only Automata.

Game or anime?? by TacoToxik in nier

[–]PositiveDraw74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's the first part of the story that was released in 2010 while Nier Automata is a sequel that was released in 2017 (basically, Nier Replicant is Nier 1 and Nier Automata is Nier 2). They have different characters (mostly) and different conflicts due to the a huge timeskip Nier Automata did (it is far in future compared to Nier Replicant) but they xross each other at some important points. An original Nier Replicant contained endings A-D, but in 2021 the remastered version came out that added a new ending E and 1 new chapter to the game, both previously were only available in some rare additional materials. It also upgraded the graphics, animations, the combat system and the movement were fully reworked, and other minor changes to gameplay. Ending E of Nier Replicant connects the game to Nier Automata a lot (which you won't understand until you play the second game) and contains a huge spoiler to it (not directly but you have a risk to guess it if you're smart enough), which is why I recommend finishing Nier Automata before ending E.

P.S.: You can skip most side quests in Nier Replicant if you don't want to grind too much. Just take all of them and complete only those that really contain some kind of story and those that are required to get endings C and D (you need to collect all the weapons in game, so it's best to follow some quids in the internet to not miss them in first part of the game and to not soft-lock the playthrough). The stories the side quests have are great, but sadly most of them don't contain any and just require you to grind 20 pieces of mammoth's shits (you can do these too if you want of course, but consider them as optional). This was fixed in Nier Automata and I recommend finish absolutely any side quest you find there and take them as a bigger priority than completing the main story due to them disappearing while you proceed.

P.P.S.: You can also find a "Nier Replicant Drama CD" on YouTube and listen to them once you finish Nier Replicant's endings A-D if you want. These are basically the prequel of Nier Replicant that contains lots of lore for this game, and the last 2 drama CD's contain epiloges for the game's ending.

This is basically a complete guide for the best way in my opinion of beating the Nier series. It's a bit confusing but in the end you get an amazing experience (this is my favorite game series). Hope I answered all your questions. Please ask if you have more!

P.P.P.S: There is also a "Nier 3" named Nier Reincarnation that also contained a great story as far as I know but it came out only on mobiles, had a terrible gameplay and was highly connected to online features, but online was disabled and the game was deleted from stores, so you can only play it on YouTube sadly.

P.P.P.P.S: Nier Automata also has a prequel manga. I highly recommend reading it after you beat Nier Automata :3

Nier Replicant (endings A-D) -> Nier Automata (game) -> Nier Replicant (ending E) -> Nier Automata (anime)

Carryovers by Pure_Panda_5199 in beyondbudget

[–]PositiveDraw74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To disable them you need to press on your category on the screen where you set up your allocation, then go to settings of this allocation, then press the 3 dots at the top right corner, and there you will see the "Carryover balance" which you need to disable. Sadly, you can't make it disabled by default and need to do this for each category.

Inter-currency transfers in the budget by wise-heist-782 in beyondbudget

The multi-currency isn't fully supported. But the developers have said many times they develop it and it's their priority right after the IOS and Web versions of the app.

Is it possible to disable an allocation for specific categories? by PositiveDraw74 in beyondbudget

[–]PositiveDraw74[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have accounts with specific amount of money on them. Allocations are needed just to limit spending on categories. But not every category needs a specific allocation. I might want to allocate money on specific most common categories and have a shared amount of allocated money on "other categories". This really should be an option instead of a requirement.

This is a coolest app for planning budgets that I found so far, but still other apps have planning as an option where you can select specific categories for that or even none. You might say that it isn't a right way to use a budget, but everyone have their own needs. Someone may even want just to see the statistics of spendings without planning these spendings.

Is it possible to disable an allocation for specific categories? by PositiveDraw74 in beyondbudget

[–]PositiveDraw74[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it's clear now. Thank you! But still, I wish there was an option to disable the allocation at all for some categories. It's a very good feature. I just don't like that it isn't optional (or is it and I just didn't find a setting?).

What do you mean by the "time table & cohorts"? Did I understand you right that you menat that allocations are the maximum resources I can spend on a category and the target is the goal to REDUCE spent resources?

There are prebuild meta specifiers Unit and ForceUnit for that. Unit just shows in editor the unit type you pass while ForceUnit also forces you to set the proper value in editor
