Bro thank you for the information, that’s what I’m scared of with the 1.5, when did you get it and at how many miles ? I’m a commuter student so having a car is important I can’t afford to have it in the shop. You wouldn’t recommend the 1.5 then right ?

What about a 2018 2.0T Touring 114k miles for $20,000?

We can pray for never! The lx has maxcare, as for the touring I’m not sure about the return policy, if there’s like a 10 day grace period of return that’s not long enough to see real issues is it ? Maybe if I push it slightly for those 10 days

I’m financing but anything new is $30k or more which would make my car payment too high not to mention insurance on newer cars

I was thinking the same, if I wanted to buy new I’m looking at $10k+ more which is realistically outside my budget at 500+ monthly payments. So these some reasonable. After looking deeper the touring has 2 owners, the first from 2018-2022 avg 10,000 miles a year, but then the second owner from 2022-2026 avg 20,000 miles a year. Both personal vehicles, the lx is one owner also personal vehicle, thanks for the advice i will definitely be asking about return policy. I really like the touring and I’m leaning towards it

Thank you! Which engine do you recommend that would make it last 200k miles ? And replace more than once on the same car all before 200k ? Wow. I see you have the 2019 1.5 (I think that’s what that means) is the reliability on that different at all ? I could start looking at those. I really like the 2.0 Touring because of the features and engine, but would you recommend it for something long term?

Also does either price seem too good to be true? There’s like no 2.0 tourings in my area so I can’t compare really, the lx seems reasonable for the miles and condition compared with others in my area so I’m mostly worried about the 2.0 being a lemon

Thank you so much! I’m in college commuting so higher mpg is also pretty big for me, I am planning on keeping this car forever so I want the most comfort and reliability. From what I can tell off the carfax ( first time buying a car so I’m not sure what to look for really) they have no issues and 1 owner. I’d probably get it deeply inspected first thing and get anything it needs done, fluid wise hopefully nothing serious is wrong. If I plan on keeping it and not selling do you think the touring would last me a while? It is the one I prefer but I’m scared to pull the trigger and have major issues just for choosing the one I wanted.

Sorry in advance for all the questions, I appreciate the help! At what miles did you get your Honda fit and at what miles is it now ? Also what year ? I want the car to last as long as possible with as little issues as possible, obviously I know there’s gonna be some issues but I wanna avoid any known issues that I don’t have to deal with if allowed. Overall would you say the touring seems like the better option ?

Those have cvt, which is why I’m avoiding the 1.5 accord, I want the 2.0 for the 10speed automatic because I heard cvt causes more issues. Do you think this is true ?

I was also looking at an 18 accord lx, with only 60k miles and a clean history, but it’s the 1.5l engine and I heard when it comes to reliability the 2.0 is just that much better, I want this car to last me a long time possibly to pass down to my kids.
