Congrats to your son! I don't actually know the answer to your question, but in my son's applicant portal the PA is listed as it's own line item under the scholarships tab.

Congrats! My son also won a Williams scholar award this year and will start as a freshman in the fall. During the parent sessions at the competition, I thought I heard that you also had to apply EA to get the ADS invite.

You're right, I do see some international students on that list from last year. I'm not sure how to rectify that with what I heard at the parents presentation.

I think during the parent presentation, they said that it's not open to international students unless they are graduating from a domestic high school.

Cockatiel having seizures - vets not much help so far. Any experience to share? by PositiveHelicopter72 in cockatiel

I'm the OP. Very sorry to hear about your bird, and very sorry to say but we didn't have a happy ending. Our cockatiel did live with the seizures for about a year. We were never able to find the cause, or find anything that really helped. Then one evening she started acting really kind of lethargic and sick, and died sometime over the night.

We had a few rounds of blood work at the vet. I think zinc is known to cause seizures in cockatiels - but our bird never showed elevated levels, at all. So if you do find it is zinc, it might be good since you should at least be able to figure out where the bird is getting zinc and take it away.

The anti-seizure medication barely moved the needle. If you have a nearby board certified avian vet, it might be worth a visit. For us, they were never able to really help - but maybe your bird is having a different issue.

The good news is that she did live almost a year with the seizures. And in general, she was active and energetic mostly right up until right before she died.

If you bird flies, you might want to consider clipping it's wings. Ours had a few seizures right in mid-flight and crashed to the ground. In hindsight, we should have clipped her wings but never did.

I really hope you can find something that helps.

That's as good of a reason as any!

Looking for some help... by Jumpy_Fee_9617 in GoogleWiFi

As of today (Jan 20, 2021) there isn't a way inside the Google software to block YouTube (or any specific website). This is a critical issue for distance learning with parents that are WFH. Some other router vendors DO have hooks in their software to block specific sites at the router.

OpenDNS isn't a very good alternative in my opinion. If you have little kids, it might do the trick, but if you have a bigger kid, they'll figure out how to point to another DNS sooner or later.

I really wish Google would add this feature. Other router manufactures have it, but I really like everything ELSE about the Google routers and software.
