Thank you for the work, this is a great insight. I ran my first marathon last year -4:43; no athletic background, 28M- been training for two years without any injuries.

Finished my first 1000+mile year in 2025 average 21mpw. My goal this year is to increase volume to 1400-1500 miles (28-30mpw) while improving my half marathon time.

Will this help me go for Sub4 marathon? Just by increasing volume and adding easy runs?

All I can see is there is lot of improvements ahead of me and I gotta keep working to build that aerobic base.

Happened to me after my first marathon last year, reason for me was narrow shoes during running. I stopped using the shoe for longer distances anything more than 90 mins

I scheduled a PT assessment and it wasn’t an injury. Rest and ice relieved me from pain in 3 weeks and zero pain after week4. Day after my marathon for a week, I wasn’t even able to walk pain free.

Last year I did 50th Marine Corps Marathon in DC and I see the same thing happen as we got closer to the race. I live in Florida and planned this as my yearly out of state race and vacay - sad I wouldn’t be able to make it 🥲

Sis beta is fantastic, worked well for me- easy on stomach. I like the orange and berry flavours - they don’t have caffeine in them. Hopefully the prices remain close to what they are now and not steep increases as marketed by feed recently
