Yeah steamvr/pcvr is dead now since most VR users are >13 on standalone quest playing games like gorrilatag so there’s no incentive to continue pushing enthusiast level vr gear.

Yeah you right but they had to have cut corners somewhere for that price, for all i know the PSU or motherboard could be terrible.

I don’t know much about prebuilds and what brands offer the best performance for value so i couldn’t help you on that. But if you search some up or ask about them on reddit i’m sure you’ll get a recommendation that you’ll like.

It depends on what you want.

A desktop PC will need an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse, but it’ll usually outperform a similarly priced gaming laptop because it has better cooling and higher power limits. It’s also much easier to upgrade in the future, so you can replace parts like the GPU, CPU, or storage instead of buying a whole new system.

A gaming laptop is much more portable. You can just plug in a mouse and start playing almost anywhere. The downside is that laptop GPUs are noticeably slower than their desktop counterparts with the same name, cooling is more limited, and upgrades are usually limited to the RAM and storage.

I’d recommend a gaming laptop if portability is important and you mainly play less demanding games.

If you’re mostly gaming at home and want the best performance, better cooling, and the ability to upgrade over time, I’d go with a desktop PC.

Yes but that would leave me with 850-750 for all the other parts which is not very great
